The House
Virtual academy. Real community.
‘Virtual’ does not mean isolated. Every family belongs to a House — a local, in-person fellowship who know each other’s children by name.
A House is 2–12 families, geographically local, who meet regularly — and support one another in real life. Not online. Not occasional. Together.
The Symposium is the heartbeat: a recurring gathering where children recite their memory work, present what they’ve studied, and discuss the Common Library together with their parents.
The Academy handles the academic life. The House holds the human life. As the Academy grows, Houses plant new Houses.
How a House works
2–12 families
Small enough that every parent knows every child by name.
Geographically local
Real proximity. Real meals. Real friendships across families.
The Symposium
A recurring gathering: recitation, presentation, discussion, celebration.
Houses plant Houses
When a House grows beyond 12 families, it sends out a daughter House.
Plant a House in your city.
Our first House is forming in Plano, Texas. We are looking for founding families across the country to plant the next.
